Unearthed UK Tour

Lukus Robbins, Bristol based creative producer and socially-engaged artist, started his project, UnEarthed, in early 2020, just as the first lockdown began. In Lukus’ words, UnEarthed is “a co-created experimental art/science research project exploring the world below our feet and our relationship to it.” He chose to focus on “the living breathing wonder of soil” because of the opportunities it provides for learning, healing and reimagining the future characterised by alternative relationships with each other and with nature.

In 2021 Lukus has partnered with The National Lottery Community Fund and Watershed to travel around the UK in a van, visiting rural communities and towns, and in partnership with anchor organisations and groups, to run collective imagination sessions. In his travelling imaginarium, he is on a mission to seed the capacity of communities across the UK to ignite their collective imaginations, and to build it as a practice.

The journey, beginning in September 2021, will be documented, and other collective imagination practitioners will meet up with Lukus in different places to contribute to the work.
